Welcome to Marlin Heaven / Port Stephens NSW

Here are the Options for Marlin Fishing in Port Stephens:-

Option 1 - Share Charter

We understand that not everyone is in the position to charter our vessel solely and would still love the opportunity to go marlin fishing on board the Calypso - Australia's number one game fishing vessel with world renowned Captain Tim Dean.

Price starts at $385 per person for a full day marlin fishing.

Option 2 - Sole Charter - Marlin Fishing (several options available)

Take the whole vessel Calypso for yourself and up to 5 friends for a full days marlin fishing adventure. Most people bring along a friend or two as numbers of fish tend to wear anglers out just ask some of the guys fishing with us in the 2010 Season who caught up to 15 marlin in a day!!

Port Stephens is a very popular Sport and Game Fishing area in Australia with the biggest fishing tournament in the Southern Hemisphere, the NSW Interclub Tournament, held here during February and March each year. Captain Tim Dean and crew have won the last 5 years in a row. All 3 species of billfish can be caught here each day with chances of a Grand Slam very high. We also specialise in Big Game Flyfishing and light tackle for the marlin, with many world records caught here over the years make it a top pick for record chasers. Port Stephens is also situated next to the Hunter Valley wine growing area of Australia which makes for a great day trip on days off or for partners.
